Vulcan Desert Flyer.
Design of small hovercraft used on Vulcan circa 2237. This design accomodated about six persons and
was used for routine personnel transportation. The Vulcan flyer was the preferred means of
conveyance when venturing into desert areas since it could safely fly over such hazards as the
aggressive le-Matya and various carnivorous plant species. ("Yesteryear").
